    The cruise placeholder would not work onboard, when I was disembarking today. Is it possible to still get the 10% placeholder?

    I hope you had a magical Disney Cruise Line vacation! I’m sorry you had trouble booking your placeholder reservation while on the ship. According to the terms and conditions, the placeholder deposit must be paid while still on board. I recommend contacting Disney Cruise Line and letting them know you had difficulties with the app. They might be aware of this issue and can offer further assistance. 

    If your travel dates are flexible, take a look at the Special Offers page on the Disney Cruise Line website under Plan a Cruise. You can save up to 35% on select sailings. These discounts cannot be combined with any other offers or discounts. I utilized one of these special rates on my Alaskan cruise last summer. I saved more money booking a restricted fare than using my placeholder. Please note that these discounts change frequently and are subject to change.
