Hi! We will be going on a cruise with our one year old. Will I need to bring her car seat for transportation from the airport to the port?

    Ahoy Cayla!

Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your little pirate princess is going to have such a fabulous time sailing with Captain Mickey and his friends aboard Disney Cruise Line! My son was 6 months old when he started sailing the high seas and it was so much fun seeing him take in the sights and sounds all around him!

This is a great question! You do not need to bring your daughter's car seat if you'll be utilizing Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation to take your family from the Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral and back again at the end of your voyage. The seats on the motor coach do not support children's car seats, so if you did bring one, it would need to be stowed under the motor coach. Your daughter can enjoy her ride to Port Canaveral seated on your lap! She'll get to watch videos highlighting all the fun that awaits her onboard as well as classic Disney cartoons! When traveling to Port Canaveral, I recommend sitting on the driver's side of the motor coach for the first and best views of your beautiful Disney ship docked and waiting for your arrival!

Disney Cruise Line makes Traveling with Little Ones easy and fun! You can request your daughter's food to be pureed in the Main Dining restaurants, get a diaper disposal container for your stateroom and use complimentary wagons around Castaway Cay!
