Hello, Joe! Welcome back to planDisney. Thank you for cruising to us with your question.
I'm happy to answer your question about the Port Adventure that you are considering. I want you to have a great time and be comfortable. According to the "Know Before You Go" section in the Port Adventure description for the
Chichen Itza Mayan Ruins Port Adventure, the tour requires approximately 1.5 miles of walking. The terrain at the ruins is described as rough and uneven and is not recommended for those with walking difficulties. It is recommended that guests wear comfortable walking shoes for the substantial time spent standing and walking through the ruins.
I hope that additional information helps you make the best decision based on your abilities. If you decide that the walking conditions are not ideal and would like to choose another Port Adventure, be sure to click the "Read More" section for detailed information about what to expect with the terrain and required activity levels for your selection.
As always, my pals and I are happy to answer any additional questions you may have. Please sail back to us if we can help. As your adventure is quickly approaching, please be sure to download the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. You can use it to make plans and even check-in for your reservation 30 days prior to setting sail. You can be ready for check-in with photos of each member of your travel party from the shoulders up, against a plain background. You'll need to upload those photos and photos of your travel documentation in a JPEG format when it's time time to check in.
Have a magical Disney Cruise!
