We want to cruise from NYC to Bermuda October 2024 and I was wondering what the vaccination/COVID testing status is for Bermuda for unvaccinated

    Welcome aboard planDisney, Kathleen!

Thanks for bringing us your question regarding boarding requirements for Disney Cruise Line’s sailings from New York City to Bermuda. Currently, Disney Cruise Line no longer requires Guests to be vaccinated and/or tested for COVID-19 for sailings departing from the United States and Puerto Rico. Disney Cruise Line continues to highly recommend that all Guests become fully vaccinated before sailing and encourages unvaccinated Guests to take a COVID-19 test 2 days prior to their cruise.

Now, please be mindful that Disney Cruise Line adheres to local laws, regulations and protocols in place at all homeports and ports of call, including those related to health and safety. Please visit Bermuda's official government website to learn about country-specific entry requirements if you intend to disembark for Port Adventures

Kathleen, as we know, health and safety measures may change at any time and Disney Cruise Line continues to prioritize the health and safety of their Guests and Crew Members.  So, I recommend you keep an eye on important experience updates on the Disney Cruise Line website.

Now, on to the magical stuff! October is one of my favorite months to sail on a Disney Cruise. I bet you will love the Halloween on the High Seas cruises, too! The ships are decked out with lots of delightfully ghoulish touches and the Character Meet and Greets, especially during Mickey's Mouse-querade, feature our favorite Disney pals in Halloween attire. Kathleen, you will find all the Meet and Greet schedules and locations on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you are onboard. In the app, you can “favorite” the Meet and Greets that you don’t want to miss and automagically receive a reminder 15 minutes prior to the Meet and Greet. I recommend arriving at the Meet and Greet a little early since there might be a line for the most popular Characters.

I know you will have a swashbuckling good time, Kathleen. If you have any other questions about planning your Disney Cruise Line vacation, sail back by planDisney and let our cruise specialists Tracie and Adrianna share their best tips!

    Wishing you smooth sailing,
    Shannon
