Hi going on our 1st cruise 7 night Majic Med, my 13 year old daughter & myself. I'm happy so long as she's happy but worrying now about which age group she will be best suited too & if there's enough for her to do. Any idea what the main nationalit

    Hi Lynn!

When we sailed in the Mediterranean there were a lot of guests from Britain aboard the Disney Magic. My son made a friend from England!

The Disney ship caters to the young and young at heart. There will be plenty of activities for both of you to share together as well as separately. You'll want to remember that the Med cruise is very port intensive. You'll have some days in port where you are likely to be away from the ship all morning, afternoon and part of the evening. A good example would be the day that you visit Rome! Our favorite days were in Rome and Pompeii. Amazing!

Together on the ship, you may want to see a movie, go to a show, swim, or meet characters. Your daughter will have plenty of pre-planned activities to choose from for her age group. A popular activity is a scavenger hunt. Sometimes after hanging out in Edge (the 11 - 13 year old club), teens will make friends and want to head to the arcade, pool or take in a movie. One of our son's fave activities on board the ship is to go see a movie in the theater by himself. He likes the independence!

Mom, you can lounge in the Cove (adults only) area of the ship while your daughter is pre-occupied, head to the spa, take in a wine tasting or a lecture on your next port.

We love to cruise because we all get some alone time as well as quality family time too!

    Bon voyage!
