Ahoy there Andrea! Thanks for pulling alongside us here at planDisney!
A cruise next week? I'm so jealous! Need someone to carry your luggage? Not saying I'd try to stow away, but it's definitely about time for my family and I to set sail again!
Jealousy aside, I'm so excited that you're about to embark on the incredible three-vacations-in-one that a Disney Cruise Line vacation offers - and in just a few short days!
The Rainforest Room at
Senses Spa & Salon is easily one of our favorite activities on the
Disney Cruise Line fleet. What's not to love? Heated loungers, steam rooms, dry sauna, and even the freezing cold...uh, I mean...INVIGORATING aromatherapy showers. It takes an incredible Disney Cruise Line experience and adds that extra dose of relaxation. Add a
delicious lunch from Cabanas or the many quick-service options topside, and you've got my perfect mid-day at sea!
Reservations for the Rainforest Room can be made once you board the Fantasy by stopping by Senses Spa and Salon on Deck 11, Forward. Now depending on the time you embark, the spa may not be open just yet, but I definitely suggest checking first thing after you embark, even before grabbing lunch at Cabanas!
Now, there a few changes currently regarding the availability of the Rainforest Room you should be aware of so you know exactly what to expect! The Rainforest Room can currently only be reserved for blocks of 1 hour and 45 minutes by parties of up to 10 adults - instead of the day passes or weekly passes you may be familiar with. While this may not give you the "drop-in" flexibility as before, it turns it into a sort of "onboard
Port Adventure" just for your crew!
All I can think about is how great it would be not having to sell my voice to a sea witch in order to snag one of those heated loungers...
Have you been sure to check the current "Know Before You Go" information? It's a really helpful resource to keep track of all the latest policies and procedures. Specific to your question, Senses Spa and Salon locker rooms are currently unavailable, so you and your party should plan on arriving to the Rainforest Room wearing your swimsuits or other appropriate attire if you decide to reserve time there!
Andrea, thank you again for dropping your message in a bottle my way - I'm glad I picked it up before your cruise! If you have any last-minute questions, you can always drop us another line. Have an incredible time next week, and be sure to say "Hiya" to Captain Minnie for me!
Fair winds and following seas!
Andrew
