Absolutely. You’ll discover many familiar friends during your Disney voyage.
On my last cruise, Minnie greeted in the terminal. Once on board, dial 7-PALS for a character schedule or visit the information board in the Lobby Atrium.
Children may also encounter characters during events in the Oceaneer Club such as Do Si Do with Snow White. If your child participates in the Oceaneer Club or Lab, they'll have the opportunity to join the Friendship Rocks show, sharing the stage with Mickey and Minnie! This is a highlight for our family.
There are many characters in the Sail-Away Celebration and evening shows in the Walt Disney Theatre, but the characters that actually greet guests (subject to change) include:
Minnie, Goofy, Mickey, Wendy Darling, Pluto, Donald, Daisy, Aladdin, Stitch, Max, Chip, Dale, Snow White, Cinderella, Captain Hook, Belle and Captain Hook.
On Castaway Cay, look in front of the Post Office and across from Scuttle's Cove for more Disney pals. I waited patiently while my son had a photo taken with Jack Sparrow in front of the Flying Dutchman. Then, I posed with the Captain too! You'll also find Captain Jack greeting passengers aboard the ship on Pirates IN the Caribbean night.
Other character sightings include a Character Dance Party in the gazebo on Castaway Cay and on the ship's gangway upon return to the ship in the late afternoon.
Guests sailing on a 7 night cruise will also enjoy a character breakfast! Watch the
podcast on page 2 titled Mickey and Friends: Disney Characters.
