going on cruise next month with my husband first time cruise on the dream what can i expect and how are the staterooms

    Hi, Diane!

Congratulations on your upcoming cruise aboard the Disney Dream -- she is a stylish and spectacular ship brimming with the latest in technology and luxury!

If you're cruising with just you and your husband, you should check out all the adult amenities, including:

    • Adult dining at Palo and Remy
    • Services and treatments at Senses Spa & Salon
    • Quiet Cove Pool
    • The District -- a series of nightclubs, bars, lounges and hotspots for grownups
    • Serenity Bay at Castaway Cay -- a beach just for those over 18

The staterooms boast the latest in convenience and comfort for the cruise industry. I recommend taking advantage of how the rooms are designed by completely unpacking all your belongings as soon as you receive your luggage and then nest your suitcases inside of one another. You can easily store your bags under your raised-framed bed. You may need to bring along a power strip in order to keep all your electronics charged.

Don't forget to check out all the areas on board the ship on the first day. There usually is a walking tour of the ship led by a crew member, and it's great to find out all the hints and tricks of being able to tell where you are on the ship. Once you're on board, pick up a Personal Navigator so that you're in the know from the very beginning about what is happening when and where.

Let me know if you think of more questions before you sail. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation.

    Bon voyage,

    Andi
