Hi Jane! Welcome to planDisney! I'm happy you are planning some Walt Disney World fun around your sailing next April! Any chance I get to stop at the
Magic Kingdom I try to do so every time!
While park tickets have not gone on sale for 2024 just yet, I highly doubt that half-day tickets will be an option. You'll most likely need to buy a one-day park ticket to the Magic Kingdom in order to visit there. Currently, Guests residing in the UK are only able to purchase
Disney Magic Tickets, which are being offered in 7 or 14-day increments. To purchase a one-day pass, you'll need to wait until you arrive in the US to access the
US-based Walt Disney World website. Once here, you can purchase single-day park tickets. This may change when new ticket packages become available for 2024, so I suggest checking back to the
Walt Disney Travel Company website periodically to see if there have been any updates. You can also follow along with the
Disney Parks Blog for any news and announcements.
If you decide to not visit a park, you can always stop by
Disney Springs for a few hours. There is no cost for entry and you can come and go as you please. There are some wonderful shopping and dining locations located here, as well as some fun activities.
Wine Bar George is one of my favorites and boasts a great brunch, lunch, and dinner menu. I highly recommend The Big Board, which includes a variety of meats and cheeses, for everyone to share at the table.
Jane, I hope you have a fantastic trip next year when you are visiting the Orlando area! I hope you get a chance to experience the magic during your stay!
See ya real soon!
