Hi there, Jessica!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! What a kickoff to summer you have planned on your Disney Cruise Line vacation! I am so very excited and know you and your daughter must be as well! Before you know it, your adventure will be here and you will be on your way to the high seas with Captain Mickey for lots of fun in the sun!
One of the best parts of a Disney Cruise Line vacation are the onboard Youth Clubs! Not only do the kids get to have a blast, make new friends and feel a bit of independence, but the grown-ups do too! As a parent, what more can you ask for during a vacation?!?! Since everything in the Youth Clubs is geared towards kids, they are sure to have the best time in there…and you may find it challenging to get them to leave! I understand that your daughter may want to spend time with her cousins and you’ll be happy to know that the
tween club, Edge, is reserved for Guests ages 11-14, so she will be able to go there without any problem! Unfortunately, due to Disney Cruise Line’s guidelines, she will not be able to visit the teen club, Vibe, unless it is during Open House hours. Open House hours are open for anyone to visit and enjoy the spaces and those hours can be found on the
Navigator app once onboard. If your daughter has a smartphone you may want to download the app for her as well since there is a chat feature that you can use to communicate with her while onboard. If not, no problem! There are two wavephones in each stateroom that can be used to call or message other Guests onboard.
Have just the best time with your daughter and family onboard!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
