Hi Sherrylee,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! So much fun awaits you onboard your Halloween on the High Seas sailing, and I am so excited for all the fun you are going to have!
Disney Cruise Line does not utilize MagicBands, but instead each Guest will receive their own Key to the World Card that acts as your stateroom key, your ticket on and off the ship and is used to make any onboard purchases. Children that are registered for the Youth Clubs will receive an Oceaneer Band which looks similar to a MagicBand, but it is solely used to check them in and out of the onboard
Youth Clubs. At the end of your sailing you can return the Oceaneer Bands or keep them as a souvenir for a small fee. I recommend bringing lanyards to keep the Key to the World cards in since you will want to have those with you all day long!
Depending on which ship you are on, there are a variety of different
onboard pools. They are not grouped by age, although children who are not yet fully potty-trained are unable to swim in the pools, so they will need to stay in the splash pad area. The Disney Fantasy and the Disney Dream have a fun Nemo’s Reef area for children to splash and slide around in and the Disney Wonder and the Disney Magic have their own splash pad area for the littlest Guests onboard. Each ship does have an adult-exclusive pool that is reserved for Guests 18 and older which is a great escape if your kids are in the Youth Clubs and you want to sit and relax with a good book or fruity beverage!
Wishing you a magical and memorable adventure at sea!
Happy Sailing!
Stephanie
