    This is our 1st cruise my husband and I; I am going to have gastric bypass this August after we come back (july 9th - 13th). Will the cater to my needs? Do i need any specfic paperwork?

    DCL is very accommodating with special diets.

    Please fill out the Medical Information form to alert the staff of your needs. Once aboard the ship, you can meet with a member of the Food and Beverage staff to go over your menu.

    If you have concerns about dining on Castaway Cay or during shore excursions, I would suggest calling Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 .

    Guests can be served plated meals on Castaway Cay to accommodate a special diet. For instance, one guest was given salmon with roasted vegetables. With advance notice, DCL is wonderful about accommodating guests with special dietary needs.

    Many guests with special diets make an effort to return to the ship for meals or schedule shore excursions so they do not overlap with meal times. You may also bring unopened food with you so that you have an appropriate snack while off the ship.
