Hi Bonnie!
We are thrilled that you flew over to planDisney as you make your plans to travel to Walt Disney World. I’m happy to be your ringmaster and round up some of the best options to make that trek to the Most Magical Place on Earth a reality...no lucky feather necessary!
As one of the panelists specializing in Disney Cruise Line, I jumped when I saw your question. Boy, you are onto something with the idea of cruises from your area! There have actually been Disney cruises from New York City to Port Canaveral onboard the
Disney Magic, and every Guest received a one-day Walt Disney World Park Hopper ticket and round-trip transportation to the theme parks. That would be the ideal itinerary for you and gets you close to home with travel out of
New York City.
While Captain Mickey does not currently have any itineraries like this on the horizon just yet, I would anticipate that soon you may hear an announcement about late 2022 sailings, and it would be so MAGICal if this one popped back on the schedule.
In the meantime, Dumbo would totally suggest taking to the skies and flying to Orlando, but I understand wanting some other alternatives at this time. “Casey Junior’s comin’ down the track” would be one idea, and you could travel by train. If you don’t want to wait for that perfect
land and sea combination and simply want to travel to Walt Disney World now, your best bet would be by car if you don’t want to travel by air. A road trip is all the more enjoyable knowing that Walt Disney World is waiting for you!
Don’t just fly, soar” back to planDisney if you need more assistance. We are happy to be your biggest chEARleader...kind of like Timothy Mouse was for Dumbo. Wishing you lots of luck as you plan this magical vacation!
