Going on a cruise in a few wks I have purchased snorkel gear for my kids will they let us use this to snorkel or do we have to rent it there? Also if we get to the port early how likely are we to snag an upgrade an how much of a discount is a late purchase

    Hi, Tracy!

You certainly are welcome to bring your own snorkel gear to use at Castaway Cay or other ports of call.  There is Snorkel Lagoon Equipment readily available on Disney's private island at Gils' Fins and Boats or Flippers n Floats.

If you arrive at the cruise terminal at Port Canaveral early, it's always wise to request an upgrade upon check in.  However, there are no guarantees.  Of course, it depends on availability, and Disney cruises to the Bahamas and the Caribbean are of the most popular itineraries currently.  Best wishes with your request!

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
