Ahoy, Lori!
What an awesome Land and Sea adventure you have planned! I'm so happy to hear you'll be visiting Disney Springs - there are so many new restaurants, stores and more to explore. I love
Disney Centerpiece at Marketplace Co-Op, and I can't wait to check out
The Boathouse and
Jock Lindsay's Hangar Bar!
You're also in for a super fun time at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party - what an awesome way to celebrate the season!
When staying at a Walt Disney World Resort before your cruise, you'll receive a letter in your room the night before you sail. This letter has all the details you'll need regarding luggage pickup and transportation to the port. Luggage pickup typically begins around 8am. You'll be given special luggage tags, and the Bell Services Team will come to your resort room to pick up your bags. You won't need to take your luggage to the lobby, and you don't need to be present for your luggage to be collected.
Departure times for the Disney Cruise Line buses vary, depending on the number of cruisers leaving from each resort. You can expect to possibly make a few stops to pick up guests from other resorts. No worries, the stops are quick and organized because everyone is eager to get to the ship! On our last Land and Sea vacation, we met the bus around 10:45, and arrived at the terminal in Port Canaveral around noon. Most guests arriving via Disney motorcoaches are at the port by around 1 - 1:30pm at the latest.
I hope this helps with your planning. Please let us know if you have any further questions before you go!
Have a magical day - Diane W.
