Which cruise? Easter 2011 we loved 1st cruise on Magic (ECarib1). Should we go for ECarib2 Dec 2012 or wait til Easter 2013 and do WCarib (Both Fantasy)? What are pros/cons of each cruise 2ads, 2 kids (11/12 & 8)?

    Hi, Kerri!

This is the best part of my position as the Disney Cruise Line Specialist on the Disney Moms Panel -- I love to help guests figure out just the right cruise for their family!

I'm all for varied experiences for my crew so that they are exposed to more -- especially when it comes to itineraries.  Therefore, my first reaction is to choose the Western Caribbean sailing on the Disney Fantasy.  I love that the Western Caribbean has such a "smorgasbord" of ports including stops in Key West, Cozumel, Grand Cayman and Castaway Cay. Plus, you'll be on the new Disney Fantasy -- which will be a new experience as well.

Yet, one of the most excruciating aspects of a Disney Cruise Line vacation is....waiting!  If someone asked me whether I would want to wait just a few more months to be on a Disney ship, there's no way!! So, if you have more patience than me, choose the Western Caribbean itinerary for the different experience and ports of call. I hope that helps navigate you in the right direction -- write back and let me know what you booked!

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
