Hi there, Bronwyn!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so glad you sailed by with your question about your upcoming Disney Cruise Line vacation. I am a BIG fan of last-minute bookings because it makes the time pass so much quicker! I have made the mistake in the past of booking way ahead of time (and telling my boys about it) and the daily “is it Mickey Boat time?” questions got old really quickly!
Mickey Mail may be one of my favorite types of mail to receive!! Once my cruise information booklet and luggage tags arrive, it means the trip is getting close (but still not close enough to tell my boys) and I can really start preparing for the voyage. Typically, these are mailed out and received about five or six weeks ahead of your voyage, but often they aren’t received until right before your vacation arrives – especially if reserving last-minute. I recommend contacting Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 to ensure that they do in fact have the correct mailing address and if they have been mailed. If all checks out and you still do not receive prior to your sail date, no worries! The porters will have extra luggage tags for use when you arrive at the port for embarkation. Just be sure you have your stateroom and reservation number available because you will want to make sure the luggage tags are labeled correctly!
If you haven’t had a chance to do so yet, be sure to download the Disney Cruise Line
Navigator app prior to getting onboard. You will find lots and lots of handy information on the app including a full schedule of activities and entertainment, deck plans, menus and so much more!
Just a few more sleeps until you will be setting sail with Captain Mickey for some fun in the sun!
Happy Sailing!
