Welcome to planDisney, Marie Angeline. I have a picky eater with a food allergy, so I understand it can be difficult to find the right thing while on vacation. Disney Cruise Line tries to accommodate its Guests' dietary needs, though!
You are correct that there are plenty of pancakes and fries, but this particular type of rice may not be available. On the day you embark on the
Disney Wish, I suggest visiting
Marceline Market because they have a large variety of foods. If they have your son's favorite rice there, it's quite possible that he may be able to get it in the
rotational dining restaurants. From my sailings on the Disney Wish, I do not remember yellow rice, but the dining team changes the menu from time to time, so things can change.
You will have dinner in
1923,
Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure, and
Worlds of Marvel. They each have a unique menu and theming. Your dining team will be a great resource because they will make suggestions and try to find what you need. Please note that not all requests can be honored, though. Also, visit
Mickey & Friends Festival of Foods, which includes five themed quick service restaurants on Deck 11, Forward. My favorite is Donald's Cantina which serves Mexican food.
Marie Angeline, if you have any questions, sail back to
planDisney. My planDisney pals and I are here to help!
Wishing on a star,
