We want our 1st cruise to be Disney. There are 6 traveling with age range of 10 to 78. Handicapped facilities would benefit the 77 & 78 yr olds. What are the best cabin arrangement for this number of people? Most cost effective with best views?

    Hi, Barbara!

You are right to be considering Disney Cruise Line (DCL) for your first cruise experience -- the ships and itineraries have something for everyone in your traveling party! In addition to a variety of activities, entertainment, dining options and shore excursions, Disney cruise ships offer a myriad of stateroom choices in several different price categories.

Since I'm not completely familiar with those in your group and since your options can vary depending on the ship on which you're sailing, I suggest calling a DCL representative at 800-951-3532 or your travel agent to discuss the deck plans and your choices. There you'll be able to see which staterooms are accessible ones; which ones are connecting; and which ones offer the best views for your particular price category.

My personal suggestion is to start with where you want to go and when -- the farther out you plan, the more flexibility you'll have with available staterooms. Then, search for an accessible stateroom on the ship on which you've decided to sail -- since that will be your most narrowed choice. You'll then need to find a stateroom which can accommodate the rest of your party nearest that stateroom -- with your desired view. I hope that helps point you in the right direction.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
