Hi there, Kristin!
Great to hear from you again. Your excitement is contagious, and I can't help but to wish your countdown to be much quicker, so that your vacation can be here already. Your buccaneers are definitely going to have such a great time with you getting everything together.
Pirate night is our family's most favorite themed event on the Disney Cruise Line. On a 3-night sailing to the Bahamas, Pirate Night is usually on night #2. There will be lots of exciting activities planned for you and your family that evening. To start you off, your stateroom host/hostess will be delivering some important information about the Pirate deck party in advance, so that you can get yourself ready for some swashbuckling fun! Make sure you pack some pirate gear if you can - usually, online stores or your local party supply places will have a decent amount of costumes and accessories available. Just in case you don't find any, there's always some pirate gear available for purchase at the shops onboard the ship. Dinner will be a lot of fun, since you'll see lots of guests and crew members in their pirate attire.
The
Pirates IN the Caribbean Party happens on the top decks after dinner. The fireworks out on the high seas is a spectacular show that you shouldn't miss. The decks look like they are magically lit up as the ship's colored lights compliments the striking bursts of fireworks in the sky. Don't go back to your stateroom yet... since the chefs usually prepare a feast following the party. Desserts galore! My kids enjoyed making their own dessert crepes last month when we were on the Dream.
We enjoy seeing your great questions, Kristin. I'm sure your planning is going well. Just in case you need any additional details, just cruise on back here and we'll be glad to help.
See 'ya later!
