    our cruise is coming up and we are celebrating both my kids birthdays and christmas. any suggestions on how to make it extra special, w/o too much extra in costs? Also can you tell me about the gift shops items and pricing. i want to let them pick a gift..

    It's so great "sea"-ing another question from you! Before you know it, you and your pirate crew will be dancing and singing with Captain Mickey and his friends during the Sail-Away Celebration on deck! My family and I are currently packing for our upcoming high-seas adventure on Disney Cruise Line and are bursting with excitement!

    While celebrating both Christmas and your kids' birthdays, you will make so many unforgettable memories with your family during your cruise. One way to make your kids' birthdays extra special is to call the agents at Disney Cruise Line at (800) 951-3532 and make a note on your reservation that you will be celebrating their birthdays. Your Server and Assistant Server will see this note and coordinate with you an evening of your voyage for a special birthday dessert in one of the Main Dining restaurants! Another way to make their cruise magical is to stop by the Gifts & Amenities page on the Disney Cruise Line website and order the "Birthday Theme Cabin Decoration" to "magically" appear set up inside your stateroom upon your arrival! Your birthday buccaneers will be so surprised and excited from the moment they walk in!

    You're asking about one of my favorite things to do onboard: shop! I recommend sailing into Sea Treasures and Mickey's Mainsail to find a huge selection of treasures for your kids to choose from. You will find a wide range of prices, too! You can find everything from key chains, pens, T-shirts, Disney Character plush toys, princess dresses and more!
