Is the cruise cheaper then the park

    Welcome to planDisney Alma!

There are so many variables when planning a Walt Disney World vacation or a Disney Cruise Line vacation, so it is really hard to say which would be more economical. Prices for both will vary depending on the number of guests, travel dates, and types of accommodations. Luckily, it is easy to price out an adventure for Walt Disney World or a Disney Cruise with just a few clicks, so try each location to see what might fit your travel budget!

When looking for a budget friendly vacation in Walt Disney World, look at the Value Resorts. These resorts have so much magic at a Value price! When choosing Theme Park Tickets, avoid add-ons like the Park Hopper option to keep your ticket price down. When looking ahead to dining, stick with Quick Service meals as these will be your most economical dining options. Discounts may be available, so check out some deals that may apply to your vacation.

For a Disney Cruise, a great way to stay on budget is to book an Inside Stateroom. These will be the least expensive on the ship. You may also want to look into the Special Offers to see if there are any deals that might work for you. When on a Disney Cruise, remember that your food and non-alcoholic beverages are included in your cruise fare. You will also get to enjoy onboard live entertainment, Youth Clubs, a movie theater, and so much more!

Whatever you decide, each option will have plenty of Disney magic and pixie dust that will make your vacation memorable. As you start to decide which you might finally choose, stop back to your pals here at planDisney for specific planning advice for your magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
