Hi Anita!
Thanks for sailing back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hEAR that you have an upcoming voyage booked! However, I am sad at the possibility that one of your pirates might not be able to sail, but I completely understand that unexpected circumstances happen! When you plan an exciting vacation such as a Disney Cruise, the last thing you're hoping for is for a member of your party to be unable to join you.
Anita, I spoke with my friends at Disney Cruise Line about the possibility of the one adult member of your party needing to cancel 20 days prior to your cruise. Although I don't know the specifics of your reservation, the agent at Disney Cruise Line said that yes, there would be a cancellation fee. My best suggestion would be to call Disney Cruise Line yourself at (800) 951-3532 with your reservation information and ask them about your specific scenario. Cancellation policies vary by sailing. The agent on the phone will be able to give you the best answer based off of your specific reservation details.
If you'd like to take a look at the different Cancellation Policies, you may do so by visiting the
Terms and Conditions for Residents of the United States. This will be a great starting point until you're able to speak with a Disney Cruise Line agent!
Anita, I will be keeping all my fingers crossed that your entire party will be able to set sail together!
