Welcome back to planDisney, Ward! It's great to have you sail our way.
I agree with you, the kids' spaces onboard the
Disney Wish do look great! My kids and I can't wait to step onboard and check out these interactive spaces. I think my daughter is most looking forward to taking care of the creatures in Star Wars Cargo Bay and I know that my son can't wait to step into the shoes of a Disney Imagineer in the Walt Disney Imagineering Lab.
Guess what? I'm a big kid at heart and I have the same question that you do! Move on over kids, I want to play! As an adult, the chance to check out these innovative and interactive spaces will come in the form of an
Open House. These are times that the youth spaces are open for the entire family to explore. Open House times are listed in the Activity Schedule in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app and can be viewed once you are onboard.
As I haven't yet had the opportunity to sail on the Disney Wish, I'm not sure which activities will be available to experience during an Open House. I promise that's one of the first things that I will check in to when I'm aboard this summer. Please feel free to send another question in a few months and I'll share all about what the adults can see and do onboard.
The kids won't be the only ones having fun, and there are a lot of adult-exclusive spaces to enjoy on the Disney Wish as well. I'm especially looking forward to a dip in the infinity pool in the Quiet Cove area of the ship and a meal at Palo Steakhouse.
Ward, I'm sure that January can't come soon enough! You'll be splashing into the New Year in a big way. Please sail our way again with more questions if you have them.
WISHing you a magical voyage,
Adrianna
