We have a cruise booked on the Disney Dream for 12/1/23-12/4/23 and what hotel should we stay at if we come in on November 30? we want to be picked up and taken to the port.

Hi Phyllis! Welcome to planDisney! My pals and I are so glad that you sailed our way with your question.

I'd love to help you prepare for your Disney Cruise! I took a peek at Disney Dream's schedule for December and see that a cruise is scheduled for November 30 to December 4. If this is your itinerary, the cruise will sail from Fort Lauderdale. At this time, you may book a pre-cruise hotel stay through Disney Cruise Line at the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina. Simply call Disney Cruise Line and an agent will be happy to help you. At this time, information about ground transfers provided by Disney Cruise Line for Fort Lauderdale is not available. I encourage you to inquire again closer to your sailing date.

If you will be sailing on the Disney Wish, I see an itinerary that matches the exact dates you provided. In that scenario, you would be sailing from Port Canaveral. You have plenty of hotel options with ground transfers provided through Disney Cruise Line. You can choose to stay at the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport and take a transfer from the airport to the port, or you can choose my personal favorite option and stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel before your cruise. From your resort hotel, you can reserve transportation straight to the cruise terminal. Please call Disney Cruise Line to reserve your hotel stay and your ground transportation.

If you will be arriving late in the evening the night before your cruise, I would recommend the hotel within the airport in Orlando for the sake of convenience. If you fly in earlier in the morning, I would choose to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Disney's Port Orleans Resort (Riverside or French Quarter) is a great option because of its proximity to Disney Springs, a great area to dine, shop, and relax before your Disney Cruise begins.

I hope that you have found this information helpful. Please sail to planDisney again if you have follow-up questions. We want to make sure your plans for adventure are shipshape!

    Have a magical time,

    Adrianna
