Hi there, Danielle!
I can commiserate with you just for a minute... I had to make a recent change to a cruise we hoped to take at the end of this year. It was such a bummer to change our plans, but sometimes being a responsible adult is a bummer! The good news is that we selected a new itinerary for next summer, and I'm full steam ahead with planning and dreaming about our family's next cruise.
In most circumstances, deposits are refundable. If you booked a suite or a Concierge category stateroom, deposits are non-refundable. It's not likely that you booked a stateroom under a restricted rate, but if you did, you would have paid the cruise fare in full and those fares are also non-refundable. For all other situations, you may receive a refund on your deposit if you cancel at least 90 days prior to a sailing that is five nights or less or 120 days prior to a sailing that is six nights or longer. You can review all the details of the
booking terms on the Disney Cruise Line website.
If you don't want to cancel your reservation, you are welcome to modify it and change your sail date. Your sail date can be changed to any available itinerary. Currently, Disney Cruise Line is booking cruises through February 2025. If you'd like to
cancel or modify your itinerary, you may do so by logging in to your Disney account on Disney Cruise Line's website. Sign in, select your itinerary, and choose the "Modify Reservation" option. You are also welcome to
call Disney Cruise Line directly for assistance.
I'm hoping an adventure with Captains Minnie and Mickey is in the not-too-distant future for you and your travel crew. Swim back to planDisney any time and my pals and I will be happy to help you plan the trip of a lifetime!
