My cruise arrives in port Canaveral on sept 30th. We plan on using Disney transportation to get back to Orlando airport. What is a safe time to schedule our return (domestic) flight home?

Hello there, Sabrina! Welcome to planDisney. Thanks for sailing to us with your question!

I'm happy to help you plan your transportation timeline. I'd like you to be as relaxed as possible on the final day of your vacation. Disney Cruise Line recommends that guests book flights departing the Orlando International Airport no earlier than 11:25 a.m. on their disembarkation day. I love the ease and simplicity of walking off the ship, through the cruise terminal, and onto a waiting motorcoach that whisks me off to the airport as my journey home begins.

Just give Disney Cruise Line a call to book your ground transportation at your earliest convenience, and your travel plans will be shipshape. As you prepare for your voyage, I encourage you to download the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. The app will point your compass toward all the fun and adventure waiting onboard. From home, you can book Port Adventures, adult-exclusive dining reservations, and more onboard fun. Once you step onto the ship you can use the app to reference dining times, menus, daily activity schedules, deck plans, and a special chat feature. The chat feature is helpful when it's time to gather the gang for an ice cream break. You can never have too many of those!

Sabrina, please sail to planDisney again with more questions. My pals and I would love to assist you in any way!

    Happy Planning,
