Ahoy there, Madison, and welcome back to planDisney! Can you believe Disney’s newest ship is getting ready to set sail this November? I’m excited to gaze into my crystal ball alongside you and explore all these lounges have to offer.
Similar to its sister ships, the Disney Treasure and Disney Wish, the
Disney Destiny boasts incredible themed lounges that do not accept
reservations. If you want to make you’re own checklist of can’t-miss adult escapes on the ship, save this for your April sailing:
- The Rose features Beauty and the Beast charm amidst sweeping ocean views, floating rose petals, and elegantly appointed surroundings, making it perfect for a pre-dinner cocktail.
- De Vil’s Piano Lounge channels Cruella’s dramatic flair, complete with a spotted piano and cocktails tailored to both delight Guests and even spark a little mischief.
- Haunted Mansion Parlor puts you in the center of a ghostly tale in a drawing-room setting, where spectral surprises and themed libations bring the iconic attraction to life.
- Cask and Cannon embraces the rogue spirit of Pirates of the Caribbean, offering a hearty rum selection, barrel-served brews, and a cozy, tavern-style escape.
Each of these new, exquisite lounges are sure to exhibit Disney’s flair for storytelling while embracing the spirit of the iconic characters and attractions they’re modeled after. If you don’t want to have to wait for a seat, I suggest stopping by earlier in the day. This is one of the tips I picked up from sailing on the Disney Wish when I wanted to relax in the Hyperspace Lounge. And if you have younger sailors on your travel crew, they can also check out the hidden gems in these spaces during the afternoon before it becomes an “adults-only” setting.
I’ll be sailing on the Disney Destiny this winter, so if you want to visit me again here at
planDisney before the year ends, I’d be happy to share my first-hand experiences. Otherwise, any of my planDisney pals will be happy to help you hunt down the answers to any other questions that may float up before your sailing in April.
Bon voyage,
Sami
