Welcome aboard, Ileana!
I’m so glad you stopped by planDisney with your question. I see you’re in the beginning stages of planning a Disney Cruise. With a crew of six, you have a few accommodation options. I’d be happy to help you discover the right one for your family.
One option, and probably the easiest, is to reserve two
connecting staterooms. Each ship has several staterooms in various stateroom categories that connect. There are interior doors that open between the two rooms, allowing your family to enjoy the comfort and space of both staterooms. It is important to note that a Guest 21 years or older must be booked in each stateroom with children, but you can choose to slumber however you wish.
If your children are older, you may consider booking two staterooms that are not connecting but are adjacent. When my brother joined us on a Disney Cruise, my husband and I reserved a stateroom with a verandah, and my brother and son stayed in an inside stateroom across the hall. We each had our own space, but we were close enough to tuck my son in at night.
A second option would be to book a Concierge Suite. The
Disney Magic and
Disney Wonder both have a Concierge 2-Bedroom Suite available that sleeps seven. The
Disney Wish has a Concierge 1-Story Royal Suite and a Concierge 2-Story Royal Suite that would fit your family. For an extra luxurious experience, you can reserve the Wish Tower Suite, located high above the upper decks. The suite sleeps eight guests and even has a private elevator. Concierge guests also have exclusive access to dedicated areas of the ship, including the Concierge Lounge.
You’ll notice that the price for your cruise will vary based on what stateroom category you select. Ileana, I have stayed in every stateroom category, and I can tell you that I have had a magical vacation filled with wonderful memories in every one of those categories. Each cabin has everything you’ll need for a comfortable holiday at sea.
With a larger crew, some Guests prefer to work with an experienced travel planner. You are welcome to
contact Disney Cruise Line, and an agent will gladly assist you in booking your reservation. I hope this helps you plan the perfect accommodations for your family.
