On the cruise are we able to send things like letters and packages back home during our stay? I want to send a couple letters home to our kids while we are gone next year

    Ahoy Tatiana!

Hearing about your Disney Magic sailing with Marvel Day at Sea makes me happy as can be! This Bahamas-bound itinerary with stops in Key West, Nassau, and Castaway Cay sounds worthy of the anticipation as you wait for 2021 to arrive!

Sending letters back home to the family sounds like a MARVELous idea to me. Fortunately, all three of the ports you will be visiting have post offices from which you can mail postcards and surprises back home. One of our favorite souvenirs from our Disney cruises is a postcard from our various stops. It allows us to relive the vacation all over again and laugh at the messages we send ourselves. We write our dog Millie as many tales as possible and read them to her when we get home!

While the Post Office on Castaway Cay is not always open when the ship is docked on the island, it does house a drop box outside where items to be mailed can be deposited. Stamps can be purchased in the Post Office using U.S. currency; if closed, you can purchase Bahamian stamps at the Guest Services Desk onboard.

Just so you know, you will probably return from your cruise before the items mailed from the Bahamas will: it’s usually several weeks to receive mail from the Bahamas. Your best bet is that perhaps your Key West mail might make it home before you. Oh, but the anticipation of those items arriving is so fun...and you’ll be at home with them to see their sweet expressions and squeals of happiness when Mickey Mail arrives!

Drop us a line if you think of other planning questions. We are happy to deliver the best Disney Cruise Line advice in all the seven seas. Enjoy every second of your MAGICal voyage!

    SEA ya real soon!
