Hi again, Kari! It’s so nice to continue to chat with you about dining at the Disneyland Resort!
When it comes to
dining reservations, it all depends on how your family likes to dine and whether you want to have a set schedule while you are in the parks. Personally, I always make advanced dining reservations so I can secure a meal at my favorite restaurants. Some of the more popular restaurants like Blue Bayou Restaurant, Carthay Circle Restaurant, and all of the character dining locations can fill up fast and typically don’t have same-day availability. So I recommend that you make at least one or two reservations for your stay if your family likes sit-down meals.
All of the restaurants at the Disneyland Resort are kid-friendly so make your choices based on the cuisine you enjoy or the experience you want to have. Wine Country Trattoria and Naples Ristorante e Pizzeria have amazing Italian food, River Belle Terrace serves up southern BBQ fare, and Carnation Café offers some classic American dishes. For character meals, my all-time favorite is the Minnie and Friends - Breakfast in the Park at the
Plaza Inn. I suggest getting to Disneyland Park at rope drop and experiencing the park with low crowds for an hour or two and then enjoying your breakfast later in the morning.
Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance online or by calling (714) 781-3463. Have a deliciously fun time at the Happiest Place on Earth!
