How are crowds the week of Memorial Day? If we arrived the Wednesday after Memorial Day would the crowds be lower? Would it be best to avoid that week all together and do the following week?

    Hi Cynthia!

One of my favorite resources for planning our Walt Disney World vacations is checking the crowd prediction calendar on touringplans.com.  They have a magical formula that can predict what crowd levels will be like. (of course, it can always fluctuate and may not be exactly accurate, but it's a great guide for planning)

It looks like the Friday before Memorial Day is when it starts getting the most crowded.  The week before (up until Friday) looks pretty mild, and the crowds get lower by Tuesday and Wednesday after the holiday.

I hope this helps with your planning!  Please let me know if you have any other questions.
