Hi Rosalie!
You're going to find that it's pretty hot and humid in June, but not as hot and humid as say, August. The average temperature in Orlando in June is in the 90's. You need to be sure to stay hydrated! One tip I love to share is that you can go to any Counter Service restaurant and ask for a free cup of ice water! I recommend packing plenty of sunscreen and [light] wet weather gear for that liquid sunshine you may see in the afternoon. Rain can be heavy at times, but usually doesn't last for very long. We plan for indoor rides and shows in the afternoon just in case. Also, we've often made a table service reservation during the hottest point of the day so we can stay in the air conditioning for a bit.
I recommend visiting one of the Guest Services locations at any one of the four major Theme Parks upon your arrival. Just explain the situation with your teenagers to the Cast Member and they will write a Guest Assistance Card [GAC] for you. You'll want to show that GAC to the Cast Members at each one of the shows and attractions and they'll provide an alternate entrance if one is available and/or needed. We also have a
Guests with Disabilities section with frequently asked questions that may contain some more valuable information for your trip.
Thank you for visiting us on the Moms Panel and I sure hope I've helped! Please come back and see us if we can answer any more questions you may have.
Wishing you Pixie Dusted vacation planning!
