What are the crowds usually like at the end of August?

Hi Janice! You will find the crowds starting to thin out at the end of August since many schools now start their new year in the middle or beginning of that month. You will still have some crowds but it is better then earlier in the month. Many crowd calculators done by non Disney people state this time to be Light Crowds. The days around the Labor Day weekend will also find the local crowds coming so plan on that.

At this time it is still in hurricane season and you will still find the weather humid and hot. Prepare for the daily afternoon showers or thunderstorms. Plan outdoor activities earlier in the day and hit the inside attractions for later. Check out all the great possibilities at the Walt Disney World website.
