What are the crowds like in november?

    Hiya Kristen,

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your planning question! November is such a lovely time to visit Disney World. In my experience, the Florida humidity usually starts to ease up a bit by then, and there's something so nice about spending a fall day in the parks.

So Kristen, let’s jump right into your question about crowds! As a local Annual Passholder for more than 10 years, I have found that November can have its ups and downs when it comes to crowd levels. In my experience, the beginning of the month can sometimes feel a little busier before things calm down a bit toward the middle of November. Then, as Thanksgiving approaches and schools begin their holiday breaks, you may notice the parks start to feel busier again. Of course, crowd levels can vary from year to year, so there's no way to know exactly what your park day will look like ahead of time.

But Kristen, please don’t let the possibility of crowds keep you from having an amazing vacation! With a little planning, you can definitely make the most of your park days.

If you are staying at a Disney Resort, one of my favorite perks is Early Theme Park Entry. Getting into the park a little earlier is a great way to experience an attraction or two before the day really gets going.

I also recommend looking at the different Lightning Lane passes before your trip. With Lightning Lane Multi Pass, you can choose up to three eligible experiences and arrival windows in advance. Once you use your first selection, you may be able to make another based on availability. Lightning Lane Single Pass is available for select high-demand attractions. At the same time, Lightning Lane Premier Pass gives you one-time access to each available Lightning Lane experience in one theme park that day without having to choose arrival windows.

And don’t forget about the My Disney Experience app! I am constantly checking attraction wait times while I’m in the parks. Sometimes simply seeing that a nearby attraction has a shorter wait can completely change where we head next.

Kristen, I hope this helps you feel a little more prepared for your November visit. Crowds or no crowds, there is always plenty of pixie dust to be found! If you have any additional questions, please come back and visit us again.

    See you real soon,

    Christina
