How do crowds during Spring Break (mid-March) compare to crowds during Columbus day weekend? We've been 2X during Spring Break (2011 & 2012) and most likely will not do that again, but would like to take my 6-year old to MNSSHP during Columbus day wee

    Hi Stephanie!

I checked the Touring Plans crowd calendar and the weekend of Columbus Day has a pretty high crowd level.  On Columbus Day has a low level, mostly likely for people traveling home that day.  There is a RunDisney race the weekend before, so you may run into crowds because of guests vacationing for the race and for the holiday weekend.  I've been during spring break and Columbus Day weekend before and have found that spring break is much more crowded...and hot!

If you are thinking of attending Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party, I suggest purchasing your tickets in advance because busy dates usually sell out.  The good thing about the party is that ticket sales are limited, so the Magic Kingdom won't be completely over-crowded during the party and you can relax and enjoy all of the spooktacular events.

    Have a magical day!
