Hi Emily,
Welcome to planDisney!
First, let's celebrate your trip to the Walt Disney World® Resort! February 24th is at the end of the
runDisney Princess Half Marathon Weekend Presented by CORKCICLE®, so you may be able to navigate the crowds in the parks that day. The last day's event looks to be
Disney Princess Yoga at 5:00 a.m. at Disney's Hollywood Studios.
If you decide to go, consider EPCOT. Check the
park hours prior to your visit and get there at opening. If you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection or other select hotel, take advantage of
Early Theme Park Entry for Disney Resort Hotel Guests. My family has found that EPCOT feels less crowded at park opening. Also, looking at your dates, you may be there just in time to catch the end of the
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts. Stay tuned to the
Disney Parks Blog for more details!
If you have a true aversion to crowds or have a child in your group who might not be able to manage, then I suggest going on another day. Plan a resort day and just relax. My family loves to sleep late on at least one day of our vacation. We will use
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering to get breakfast, pick it up, and dine in the room. Then we head to the pool. We will spend a few hours at the pool and then will grab lunch. Sometimes, we will head to Disney Springs in the early evening or we may head to a park to have dinner and watch a fireworks show.
Emily, as you continue to plan, make note of your
advanced dining reservation booking window. Make dining reservations as soon as that booking window opens. Add
Memory Maker if you have not done so already and consider one of the special experiences with the
Enchanting Extras Collection. Keep up the
practically perfect planning!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
