How are the crowds at Disney World during Memorial Day weekend?

Hi there, Lisa! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! We appreciate you taking the time to stop by and allowing us to help you plan your visit to Walt Disney World Resort!

As someone that frequently travels to Walt Disney World Resort, my family and I have had many experiences with visiting during holidays! During our own visits during Memorial Day weekend, we did not find the theme parks particularly crowded. However, this can always vary based on the year in which you visit. These experiences have given us many good tips and tricks for dealing with crowds whenever the parks get busy so, hopefully, I can give you some recommendations in case you find yourself in a similar situation!

Prior to your arrival, be sure to download the My Disney Experience app onto your smartphone! This will be your one-stop-shop for everything related to Walt Disney World Resort. When visiting during particularly busy times of the year, I frequently check the wait times on the My Disney Experience app for various attractions. This helps me plan out my day and choose which attractions my family will visit. In addition, I also highly recommend making FastPass+ reservations! This is a great way to reduce the amount of time you spend in the standard queue line and increase the number of attractions you are able to experience!

Hopefully, this information will assist you in planning for your Memorial Day visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
