How crowded is the Magic Kingdom or Hollywood Studios on April 1st and 2nd? Do you know of anything special that happens on Easter Sunday?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Debra! Crowds are always on my mind when I’m planning my Walt Disney World vacation, too! There’s a tool I always use when picking the parks to visit.

The Undercover Tourist Crowd Calendar can’t be beat, in my mind. They give you a day by day breakdown of crowds on a 1-10 scale, and even recommend parks to avoid on any given day. Traditionally, Easter Day brings a large crowd to both Disney's Hollywood Studios and Magic Kingdom Park, as Mr. Easter Bunny typically makes an appearance either in a parade or a Meet & Greet. You’ll also be able to find specially decorated cupcakes in the Main Street Bakery and you simply must take the Monorail over to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to see the amazingly decorated chocolate easter Eggs. They are so decadent and beautiful. If you have time I would head to Epcot for the Egg-stravaganza Scavenger Hunt across the park with stickers; it’s so much fun for the kids to complete!

If I can help you with any other vacation ideas or planning tips, please let me know. You’ve got a friend in me! ~ Lindsey P.
