What are the crowd levels like in May & June? What would be the best recommended time to visit with the least crowds? Thanks!!

    Hiya, Tara!

If my travel log is an indication, any time is a great time to visit the Disneyland Resort. But I understand seeking out the ideal time for your upcoming visit to the Happiest Place on Earth. May and June are actually in a kind of sweet spot for vacation travel. Spring break season has tapered down by May. And Summer vacation season hasn't quite ramped up by June. During May and June, you'll likely come across groups of young guests visiting for special Disneyland Resort Grad Nite celebrations. And Memorial Day weekend tends to be a relatively popular time to visit.

This year, I happened to visit the Disneyland Resort three separate times in May and June. And I found each visit to be very pleasant and with quite manageable numbers of fellow guests. My visits even overlapped with four separate Grad Nite dates, which had virtually no impact on visitor levels from my perspective. I recommend planning your visit around a special occasion, if possible. For example, Mother's Day or Father's Day visits help create very special vacation memories. And, of course, celebrating a birthday is always such a magical thing! Even an unbirthday is a great thing to celebrate!

Be sure to check out all the latest happenings at the Disneyland Resort. The Disney Parks Blog is another essential source for news about the parks. You never know what's "Just Around the River Bend" at the Disneyland Resort.

I hope you have a magical time, Tara!
