Hello Rhonda,
Thanks for stopping in to see us at planDisney!
It's fun to hear you're planning a visit to "The Happiest Place on Earth!"
Rhonda, one planning note to keep in mind is that Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort theme parks will need both a valid theme park admission ticket and a valid theme park reservation for theme park entry. The theme park reservation system is one of the primary ways that the Disneyland Resort
manages attendance.
I think the main tools you'll want to make part of your planning process are the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar and the
Theme Park Tickets & Reservations system. The Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar will give you an at-a-glance view of which theme parks have reservations available for selection. The Theme Park Tickets & Reservations system lets you select new theme park tickets and select new theme park reservations in the same set of steps. This process makes it easier for you to plan your visit by buying tickets and making reservations at the same time.
If you're looking for a crowd calendar to help you think through your itinerary, you can typically find a few different variations by doing a search for these tools online. Rhonda, I also encourage you to
follow planDisney on social media. You can follow along and stay connected with planDisney panelists who share their tips and first-hand experiences as a way to help you get a fun look at all the magic that's awaiting you.
You'll also want to keep your ears open for news about when the new
Disney Genie service will be coming to the Disneyland Resort. Think of the Disney Genie service as a personal itinerary planning tool to help you enjoy all the magic of the Disneyland Resort theme parks.
Rhonda, here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today!
Jerry
