Hey, howdy, hey, Keith and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. You have asked the golden question. If there is one aspect of Walt Disney World Resort I would like to have a crystal ball for it would be the crowds. Maybe we should hire Basil of Baker Street from Disney's 1986 film The Great Mouse Detective to solve this mystery.
Over the years Walt Disney World Resort has evolved into the most sensational, inspirational, and celebrational theme park resort in the world. With
Pandora - The World of Avatar opening in 2017,
Toy Story Land in 2018 and soon the Black Spire Outpost on planet Batuu located on the Outer Rim of Wild Space in
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, we see crowd patterns and excitement like never before. Unfortunately, there is no officially published Disney crowd calendar but many bloggers have put their thoughts out on the internet. I use them as a guide but know that predicted crowd levels can change shape like Maui battling Tomatoa. My suggestion is to look at the ticket prices. This is the best indicator of what Disney's predictions are for crowd levels. Comparing ticket prices throughout the year you will find lower prices. These indicate slower times.
Disney Dad Tip: When you go to
purchase tickets there are blue words under the "Choose the First Day of Your XX-Day Ticket" that says, "See which months offer the lowest ticket price." This way you will see the least expensive ticket and possibly the lowest crowd levels.
Keith, enjoy making many Magical Memories.
