Hey Howdy Hey Laura and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you so much for your question in regards to your credit for tickets purchased for
Disneyland in 2020. That year was full of unprecedented actions by multiple companies and governments with the development of Covid-19 which continue to impact us today. So let's talk about your options when it comes to these credits.
Disneyland in California and
Walt Disney World Resort in Florida are both Disney properties that share a common bond, however, they operate as completely different entities. I am sorry to say that credits from one do not transfer over to the other because of how different they operate.
I think this gives you a grand opportunity and reason to return to the Happiest Place on Earth and the park that started it all at Disneyland. They have so many great attractions and themed lands that Walt Disney World does not such as
Avengers Campus that you can check out.
Of course, you are always more than welcome to come to visit us in the sunshine state of Florida at the Most Magical Place on Earth in Walt Disney World Resort. With so much happening here in Walt Disney World with the opening date of
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind on May 27th of this year and earlier this year with the newly opening
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure in EPCOT, there is a lot to experience here. One big attraction we continue to anxiously await word from Disney on expected opening dates is TRON Lightcycle Run in Magic Kingdom.
Sounds like you have a great opportunity to visit Disneyland soon and then plan your trip to visit the Magic in Walt Disney World for all of the new experiences we have happening in central Florida. I know this might not be the best news you were hoping for, but I hope you can take advantage of the credits you have and then come to visit us at a later time in Walt Disney World. If you have any further questions please feel free to reach out, we are happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
