I have a credit due to covid for tickets that had to be canceled due to closures. Is it possible to use the credit to book another Disney resort?

    Hey there, Claire!

Thanks for visiting planDisney with your question! It's great to hear you're planning again to visit Walt Disney World Resort. I'm happy for you that you'll be getting to take in all the experiences at The Most Magical Place on Earth.

My best suggestion is for you to call the Walt Disney World Resort at (407) 939-7679 and discuss your options for your theme park ticket credit. The standard policy is that theme park tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable, and there are situations where the price paid for theme park tickets can be applied to the purchase of new tickets. There might well be something specific with the credit you received due to cancellation, and so I think it's best for you to review those details directly with a Cast Member. I'm confident they'll be happy to help you with your questions about your specific situation.

When you do get going with your planning, let us know here at planDisney if we can help offer any recommendations for your visit. We're always happy to share suggestions based on our own Disney vacations.

You might also want to follow along with the planDisney Panelists as we answer popular questions on social media.

I also recommend keeping up to date with the Disney Parks blog. It's a great way to stay in-the-know about all the new and exciting experiences that await you when you visit.

Claire, here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
