    We will have our credit card linked to our magicbands and plan to take no money to the parks or Disney Springs. Is there anything we are likely to need cash for?

    Hello, Jill,

    I absolutely love MagicBands and how easy they have made visiting Walt Disney World.  However, I still make sure and bring along my driver's license, medical insurance card, and a credit card that is different from the one linked to our MagicBand.  I also carry with me a small bit of cash as a precaution.  In previous years, we still used loose change to purchase pressed penny souvenirs and needed cash for the Frontierland Shootin' Arcade. Because there are still a few places such as these that don't use MagicBands, you may like knowing you have a little bit of cash as a back-up plan.  I know of one instance where the MagicBand reader wasn't working, so we did need to use cash/credit card. However, there are also ATMs throughout all of Walt Disney World that you can utilize if you rather leave the cash behind and then change your mind.
