Hi Haleigh,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for bringing this question to us!
You can certainly use a debit card to hold your dining reservations. When I checked my profile for the credit or debit card options, the following cards were accepted - Disney Visa Card, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, Diners Club, and JCB (Japan Credit Bureau). As long as your debit card falls into one of these categories, it should be accepted. If you continue to have problems, feel free to call and speak with a Guest Services Cast Member at 407-939-5277.
I will offer one word of advice. Remember that there may be a penalty if you do not show up for a dining reservation and do not cancel. I forgot to cancel a reservation during one trip and was charged $10 per person. Fortunately, I called a Cast Member in Guest Services and she was kind enough to refund me the charge, but that is not a guarantee. Since I had my VISA debit card saved to
My Disney Experience profile, I was especially grateful to get my $40 returned.
Have fun making your dining reservations!
