Hello! Do I have to use a credit card to connect to my magic band or am I able to use a debit card instead?

    Welcome back, Desirae!

We are so happy to hear from you again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

As long as you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, you should have no problem connecting a debit or credit card to your MagicBands. Upon check-in, either at the physical front desk or online, you will be prompted to link a card to your room to be charged throughout your stay. This makes meals, gratuities, and purchasing souvenirs a breeze!  Sometimes they can use the card that you have filed on your My Disney Experience account, feel free to update your Payment Method before your trip!

If you have any difficulties linking a debit card to your MagicBands, simply make your way to the front desk of any Walt Disney World Resort Hotel or a Guest Relations building found at any of the theme parks!

You're visiting during the spookiest time of the year, Desirae! If you're looking for some family-friendly shivers, make sure to purchase tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! It's a bash I never miss!

If you have any additional questions, Desirae, we'd love to hear from you again at the Disney Parks Moms Panel

    Keep moving forward!
