    Hi Amy,

Thanks for stopping by with your planning question. Deciding on your resort hotel can be one of the most important steps in the process as it can affect many aspects of your magical trip. I have to say Disney's Wilderness Lodge is my all-time favorite resort, so I can see why you like going back there time after time. However, it is always fun to step out of your comfort zone and experience something new. I have a few suggestions with some of my reasons for choosing them.

If you like the majestic "lodge" feel of Disney's Wilderness Lodge, I think you would love Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. The main entrances and lobbies are similar in feel yet vastly different in theming. My family absolutely loved our savanna view room where we could come back from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks in the late afternoon and slip into the serene calmness while watching the giraffes dine right outside of our room's balcony! Simply awe-inspiring.

My next recommendation is Disney's Beach Club Resort. This happens to be my kids' favorite for one simple reason, Stormalong Bay. This is the main pool area that is fashioned after a shipwreck and features a water slide, zero entry pool with sand bottom and a lazy river. My husband and I love that convenience of its location with respect to Epcot. We can walk to this resort on our own time schedule without having to wait for transportation.

Lastly, Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter and Riverside are both very relaxing and fun resorts at the moderate price level. The rooms and amenities are still quite nice while saving you a few bucks. I also like the somewhat central location and its convenience to Downtown Disney.

I hope this offers a few choices to ponder and consider. Feel free to stop by with more questions as they may come up.

    Have a magical trip!
