When creating a reservation, would a toddler in a highchair count as one in a reservation when booking? Thank you!!

    Hi there, Kristen!

I’m so happy to hear that you’re planning a visit to the Disneyland Resort. There is so much new magic to explore this year with the opening of Pixar Pier in Disney California Adventure Park!

Yes, when making dining reservations it is best to include every person in your party in the head count, even a toddler without a theme park ticket. This is important for restaurant safety and so Cast Members can prepare a table large enough to accommodate your little one’s high chair. However, kids under three years old do eat for free at all-you-care-to-enjoy dining experiences, including character meals at restaurants such as Goofy's Kitchen! There are also meals specifically created with kids' and toddlers’ taste preferences and smaller appetites in mind, so be on the lookout for those as you dine.

I hope this information helps, Kristen, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to the Happiest Place on Earth with your little Mouseketeer!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
