Hi Jenna,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question!
Jenna, since you already have the reservation linked in your account, it might be easier to just share your plans with your boyfriend’s
My Disney Experience account through the
mobile app. This way, the information is in both of your accounts and he can handle things like booking
Lightning Lanes for the both of you during the vacation.
To share the plans, within the My Disney Experience mobile app, you’ll want to select the three horizontal lines in the lower right corner then scroll down to “My Profile”. Next, select the “Family & Friends List” and here you can add your boyfriend’s name by selecting “Add a Guest” (if you haven’t already). Once he’s added, or if he already is, select his name and under “Share Plans”, select “Send Email”. This will send a notification to your boyfriend’s email and once he accepts, he should see all the plans in his My Disney Experience mobile app including both of your tickets and any
Disney Park Pass reservations you share. Just double check that under his name, “All My Plans” is checked after he accepts!
From here, if your boyfriend wants to schedule new Disney Park Passes during your trip or he wants to purchase
Disney Genie+, he’ll be able to do so and loop you into the plans. Just keep in mind that if you have a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel with your reservation, your name will still be on the hotel reservation. You should be able to add him as a guest on the reservation within the mobile app.
If you need further details, definitely connect with the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ help desk!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you prepare for your Walt Disney World vacation. If you have any other planning or vacation questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
